We know that the game is won in the trenches. The defense was better last year once they switched to the 4-3. Miles Groomes, the best player on D, is dominant as a 4-3 DE. Assuming we stay with the 4-3 who are the projected starters?
DE - Miles Groomes. When healthy he's the best player on D.
DT - Robert Zimmerman. At 325 he brings the beef.
DT - Nigel Cawthon. Close to 300 pounds. Hope he hit the weights hard during the off season.
DE - Owen Obasuyi. He played DT last year and was effective as a freshman. His size is more suited for DE.
